5-Day Emergency Response Hazardous Materials Technician Level Workshop *3120.05* Designed for individuals who respond to releases for the purpose of stopping the release. The 5-day workshop meets the Hazardous Materials Technician requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(q). Participants receive an Emergency Responder Training Workbook, a manual containing complete lesson plans and supplemental information, a 2004 Emergency Response Guidebook, and the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards. The workshop includes chemical spill scenarios (both liquid and gas), use of a chemical suit and self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), and respirator fit testing.
