4-Day Army Accident Investigation Workshop *6011.01* This workshop is designed for commanders, safety personnel, and other individuals who are either appointed to an accident investigation board, or who have been tasked to conduct an accident investigation. Each participant will receive a current copy of AR 385-10, DA PAM 385-40, and a training manual with supplemental information. Upon completion, each participant will receive a QSSI Certificate of Completion and a laminated Certification of Training Card. The workshop will: Enable participants to properly classify and investigate Army Accidents (Aviation and Ground). Train participants on the responsibilities involved in serving as a team member on accident investigation boards. Instruct participants on investigative procedures for completing an accident investigation within the time limits set by AR 385-10 and DA PAM 385-40. Instruct participants in the differences between an Accident Investigation and a Legal Accident Investigation (formerly collateral investigation). Through instruction and practical exercises, train participants on how to complete the Abbreviated Ground Accident Report, the Abbreviated Aviation Accident Report, and DA Form 285.
