1-Day Standard Workplace First Aid and CPR with AED Workshop *3240.1* Designed for individuals to gain the knowledge and first aid skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses. Participants will learn how to effectively and appropriately respond in an emergency situation to heart attack symptoms, breathing emergencies, or an incident of choking or sudden death. Participants will also learn to perform Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and use of an Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to restart the heart of a cardiac arrest victim until advance medical personnel arrive and take over. This workshop meets OSHA requirements and includes certification from the American Red Cross upon successful completion of the written examination and the skills demonstration in Adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillation, and First Aid.
